The session’s main school funding bill, SB 175 (L. Jones), just passed its last hurdle before heading to the governor’s desk. The bill today passed 3d reading in the Senate concurring with House amendments. The vote was 43-7. See how senators voted here.

 

SB 175 now heads to the governor for his consideration.

 

SB 175 will increase funding for student achievement, provide relief to property taxpayers, and help schools affected by oil and gas development.
