The HB 2 free conference committee has just met and adopted a large number of amendments . . . all relevant . . . but the amendment folks want to hear about the most is the amendment to fund the state employee pay plan.

 

The committee’s adopted amendment is:

 

$.50 per hour effective January 15, 2016

$.50 per hour effective January 15, 2017

 

Plus

 

10% increase in state’s insurance contribute effective January 2016

8% increase in state’s insurance contribution effective January 2017

 

Effectively HB 2 now funds the pay plan we negotiated and ratified but delayed 3.5 months.
