Work that Matters

An MFPE member has been elected to the College of Fellows of the American Institute of Architects for her tireless work promoting equity within her profession and the communities served by her profession. MSU professor and MFPE member Chere LeClair was one of only 102 architects selected from throughout the entire country to receive one of the highest honors afforded a member of the architect community and profession. LeClair is also the first female architect from Montana to have ever received this incredibly prestigious award.

LeClair received the honor in appreciation for her work promoting the American Institute of Architect’s New Urban Agenda initiative which guides the profession in embracing equitable designs for the communities served by architects.

LeClair is the embodiment of what MFPE members do every single day: work that matters for our professions and communities.
