Educators and policymakers are increasingly looking to teacher professional learning as an important strategy for supporting the complex skills students need to be prepared for further education and work in the 21st century. For students to develop mastery of challenging content, problem-solving, effective communication and collaboration, and self-direction, teachers must employ more sophisticated forms of teaching.
That’s why MFPE offers trainings and professional development opportunities specifically geared towards our certified teachers and education support professional. These trainings are designed to help our education professionals hone their skills and meet state and national standards.
MFPE’s annual educator conference takes place every October and offers hundreds of sectionals on every topic in education.
We coordinate the highly acclaimed PASS training for paraprofessionals.
In addition, Montana Professional Teaching Foundation works to coordinate the National Board Certification support, Teacher Leadership Institute (TLI), and Presidential Awards for Excellence in Math and Science teaching.
Reignite your passion for teaching, gain valuable knowledge and tools to take back to your classroom, and become part of our growing educator network through our unique professional development opportunities.
